Our Story

From Michoacán
to the heart
of Jerome.

Panaderia La Michoacana began when a family from Uruapan brought their grandmother's recipes to the historic mining town of Jerome. What started as a small counter with a single oven has grown into one of Jerome's most beloved gathering places.

We wake before dawn every single day. Our ovens are lit at 5 AM so that by the time you walk in, the smell of conchas, cuernos, and fresh bolillos is already filling the room. Nothing is frozen. Nothing is rushed. Everything is made the way abuela taught us.

Whether you're stopping in for your morning café con leche and a pastel de papa, or picking up a full tamalada order for Sunday dinner — you're not just a customer here. You're family.
